Mr. Kania is the Managing Partner and Chairman of Flagship Ventures. Prior to co-founding Flagship Ventures in 2000, he spent 15 years as Managing General Partner of OneLiberty Ventures and as General Partner at its predecessor firm, Morgan Holland Ventures. His direct investment experience covers over 100 companies. In addition, he has been intimately involved in the launch and development of more than a dozen companies as the founding and lead investor. Mr. Kania is currently a director of Aspect Medical Systems (Nasdaq: ASPM), EXACT Sciences (Nasdaq: EXAS), Acceleron Pharma, Interactive Supercomputing, INTIO, Parasol Therapeutics, Pervasis Therapeutics, TARIS Biomedical, Inc., and is Chairman of the Boards of TransMedics and VisEn Medical. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council and The Johns Hopkins Medicine Alliance for Science and Technology Development Industry. He holds a degree in physics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kenneth Abramowitz is a Managing General Partner at NGN Partners and a former Managing Director at The Carlyle Group. Prior to joining Carlyle, he worked as an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., where he covered the medical supply, hospital management, and HMO industries for 23 years. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Dr. Bolless is Founder and Chairman Emeritus of ExactCost. He has co-founded and guided numerous high-tech companies from early-stage through successful public offerings on the NASDAQ and through high value buyouts. Bolless was one of the founders of Sapiens International N.V., a global e-business solution provider (NASDAQ: SPNS), a co-founder of Precise Software Solutions (NASDAQ: PRSE) and was the CEO of Exactium Ltd., acquired by Pivotal (NASDAQ: PVTL). He was also Director and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Golden Wings Ltd., the VC fund of the Israeli Air Force Veterans Business Club. His areas of expertise include business management, data processing systems, and initiation and management of high tech start-up companies. He served a long career in the Israeli Air Force. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Northern Illinois University. He is Chairman of the Public Council of the Israeli Chamber of Information Systems Analysts and is a visiting lecturer at the Tel Aviv University and the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.
