This is the 2nd Annual Conference for Healthcare Policy Makers in the Caribbean Basin and Central America, organized by Jackson Memorial Hospital International Services, under the auspices of the 31st Annual Miami Conference on the Caribbean Basin. This is the only annual gathering of Government Health policy makers, Healthcare Leaders and Health Insurance decision makers from throughout the Caribbean Basin and Central America. On December 4, 2007, as part of the session on How to Contain the Fiscal Impact of National Health Plans AND Improve Quality, ExactCost's Sr. VP Performance Management, John Ortiz, will discuss "ISP-Based Cost Knowledge and Decision Support IT Systems".

ExactCost Senior Vice President, Performance Management Division, John Ortiz, and ExactCost VP Implementation, Stephen Kardon, are on the faculty of the Financial Management and Accounting Track Two-Part Seminar Series.
Part 1, entitled "Making Invisible Costs Visible: Activity-Based Cost Management", will focus on the financial aspects of management and demonstrates how activity-based costing techniques benefit healthcare organizations in making fact-based decisions.
Part 2, entitled "Making Inefficiencies Visible: Activity-Based Process Improvement", will focus on key areas of the organization that contribute to meeting strategic objectives, as well as provide a logical framework for decision-making.
